Invenergy LLC, based in Chicago, IL, seeks a Principal Geothermal Engineer to guide subsurface technical efforts across development to COD for geothermal projects. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage reservoir modelling, and collaborate with geoscience and GIS teams to optimize site layouts and equipment arrangements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in physics or engineering is required or geology/geophysics with geothermal project track record.
5+ years of experience managing technical/engineering teams for geothermal projects.
Experience in site surveys, heat transfer and reservoir modelling is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project lifecycle across development to COD and EPC.
Lead reservoir modelling, heat transfer studies and integration with other engineering teams.
Prepare and manage interfaces with procurement, contractors, and vendors.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and performance; report risks to management.
