Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent in San Francisco, California.

You will be part of the ticketing team, responsible for planning and supporting the team to ensure they deliver optimal customer satisfaction and surpass annual revenue targets. Your role involves understanding customer needs and helping them plan suitable itineraries, including cancelling and modifying reservations as required. You will promote teamwork and consistent service to ensure our customers receive the 5-star award-winning service Qatar Airways is renowned for.

Specific Accountabilities Include

1. Handle customer requirements and requests professionally, ensuring minimal complaints.
2. Support travel agents with seat confirmations and VIP booking/ticketing queries.
3. Assist staff and customers in resolving reservation and ticketing issues daily.
4. Arrange reservations and routing for passengers using the Amadeus system.
5. Issue tickets and quote correct fares to customers.
6. Assign specific spaces to customers and maintain a computerized inventory of passenger space availability.
7. Minimize customer waiting time to two minutes.
8. Prepare staff rosters to ensure proper manpower distribution.
9. Guide and support staff, keeping them updated on industry changes and Qatar Airways products/services.
10. Investigate complaints to identify and address weak areas.
11. Ensure quality of work meets airline standards and motivate staff to contribute positively daily.
