Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 10 years progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing large teams of people on complex goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Health services or public health research background.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and resource estimates; monitor milestones and budgets.
• Develop generalized cost estimates and work with proposal staff to finalize estimates.
• Negotiate resources with managers and project directors to meet objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate with project staff to ensure understanding and progress of work plans.
• Ensure preparation of all project products and tasks—programming, analyses, reports, graphics, and tables.
• Serve as liaison to client or funder leadership and provide progress and budget reports.
• Provide monthly reporting on project financials and operations to stakeholders.
• Assist Senior Contracts Manager with contracts and scope of work.
• Contribute to program-area strategic discussions and develop PMO standards and tools.
• Serve as project manager for a variety of projects across programs and funding sources.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to project staff and stretch responsibilities as needed.
