Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is recruiting a senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-site health research projects. The role oversees plans, budgets, and staffing, acting as the main liaison to clients and funders while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.

Candidates need a strong governance mindset, excellent communication, and substantial program-management experience in public health or related fields. This is a remote, US-based position with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with ten (10) years progressively more responsible experience managing projects.
• PMP certification or equivalent is required.
• Experience in direct and indirect management of large teams.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated strong verbal/written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and resource estimates; monitor milestones and budgets.
• Create generalized cost estimates; manage expenditures per budgets.
• Negotiate resources with managers and directors to meet objectives and timelines.
• Work with project staff to ensure understanding and progress of plans.
• Prepare all project-related products and reports; ensure quality of outputs.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison to client or funder leadership; provide progress reports.
