UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Reporting Analyst position to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Job Description
Summary

This role involves working with data analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, or modification of reporting systems or programs, primarily using SQL Server Reporting Studio (SSRS) and Power BI. The position combines technical skills with business understanding, requiring discretion and judgment.

Scope

The Specialist I possesses deep knowledge within a specific IT area, supporting diverse assignments and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive results. This role supports IT projects and may guide other IT staff.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Maintain planning, monitoring, and reporting processes, including documentation, to ensure timely report development.
  2. Work with team members and stakeholders to understand report requirements and align software solutions with organizational goals.
  3. Analyze requests to ensure complete requirement gathering.
  4. Develop SQL Server Reports or Power BI dashboards.
  5. Address user needs to ensure reports meet end-user requirements.
  6. Contribute to the development of enterprise reporting systems.
  7. Participate in issue identification and solution development with cross-functional teams.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.
  9. Communicate project updates and escalate issues as needed.
  10. Maintain documentation related to software development.
  11. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  12. Contribute ideas for process improvements and innovations.
  13. Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
  14. Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles.
  15. Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
  16. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  17. Develop and apply core skills.
  18. May require travel for business matters.
  19. Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field plus five years of experience, or nine years of experience without a degree.
  • Experience developing and managing SSRS reports and/or Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows domain architecture and Active Directory security management.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Ability to learn applicable laws and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
Working Conditions

Primarily indoor office work or telecommuting, with potential exposure to various environmental conditions at project sites or vendor facilities.
