Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and reporting, with significant experience in the Healthcare Payer industry. This role is crucial for providing strategic insights and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions to support Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
  2. Gather and analyze data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
  3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports.
  4. Utilize data visualization tools to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
  5. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports.
  6. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide insights and recommendations.
  7. Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide analytical support for special projects.
  8. Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  9. Mentor and guide junior reporting analysts, providing support and knowledge sharing.
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, with at least 2 to 3 years focused on the Healthcare Payer industry.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  4. Strong understanding of Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  8. Experience in mentoring and leading junior team members is required.
  9. Preferred Skills:
  10. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  11. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  12. Certification in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) is a plus.
