Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting client-facing reporting initiatives and projects. This role requires a deep understanding of SIRVA's business operational and financial processes. The analyst will work directly with clients and account managers to improve and enhance reporting experiences through automation. The ability to listen and gauge key metrics to meet customer requirements is essential. The Senior Reporting Analyst will be a key member of the client implementation team, focusing on providing scalable analytics solutions that can be easily handed off to support teams.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Interact professionally with key stakeholders at all levels within our clients' organizations, representing the strategies of the SIRVA Data and Analytics team.
  2. Manage a portfolio of clients and their reporting requirements.
  3. Collaborate with Account Management and Sales to support new and existing client proposals (RFPs).
  4. Facilitate onboarding and client implementation processes.
  5. Present technology and reporting demos to clients in person or online; travel may be required.
  6. Partner with reporting teams and other business units to improve reporting processes and design.
  7. Evaluate systems, processes, and procedures for inefficiencies; recommend improvements.
  8. Create and develop new reports to analyze client programs and generate actionable insights.
  9. Assist in producing accurate and timely reports.
  10. Maintain and update master data for clients requiring customized reporting.
  11. Document requirements for client projects.
  12. Partner with project teams for User Acceptance Testing.
  13. Assist in training new analysts on report creation and related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Ability to create user-friendly visualizations.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data querying.
  • Experience in customer-focused roles.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline.
