Job description

Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44144

Overview:

Reporting to the Vice President of Regulatory Reporting, the Sr. Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing and reviewing the company's regulatory reports on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis. The role involves participating in complex financial analysis projects and working closely with regulatory reporting teams, finance, treasury, and lines of business. A solid understanding of the bank's operations, organizational, and legal structure is essential, as the individual will have visibility across the bank and interact with various departments.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Prepare and review quarterly financial reports (e.g., Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, FFIEC 009) ensuring data accuracy, compliance with regulatory instructions, and timely submission.
  2. Participate in finance data transformation projects, focusing on process automation and standardization of data flows from various sources to financial reports.
  3. Develop new procedures to improve operational efficiency and identify opportunities for enhancement through trend analysis, communicating their value to management and finance partners.
  4. Assist in preparing for external and internal audits and exams.
  5. Collaborate with departments such as Treasury and Technology on system modifications related to financial products, serving as a subject matter expert for regulatory reporting.
  6. Ensure adherence to compliance procedures, operational risk controls, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial reporting within the financial industry
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to build consensus and present factual information effectively
  • Capability to meet deadlines under supervisory constraints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or advanced degree in Business or a related field
  • CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it
  • Experience with automated data analysis tools and techniques
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and location. Additional compensation includes short-term and deferred incentive opportunities based on individual and company performance. Please click here for a list of benefits.
