Job summary

GitLab, the intelligent DevSecOps platform, seeks a Senior Renewal Operations professional to own renewal timing, forecasting, and data integrity across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance. You will partner with Renewals, CX, and Revenue Tech to scale renewal motion with measurable impact.

This is a senior individual contributor role in a remote, values-driven environment, where documentation, iteration, and cross-functional partnership are core to our way of working.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Revenue/Sales/ Renewals Operations or similar analytical role.
• Hands-on renewal forecasting, retention reporting, and renewal mechanics.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of CRM and billing relationships in GTM motions.

Responsibilities

• Own renewal forecast and cadence; ensure accuracy and leadership reviews.
• Run operational rhythm of renewal business.
• Ensure data integrity across renewals and subscriptions.
• Define retention reporting: gross/net retention, churn, downgrades.
• Translate business questions into actionable statements and drive outcomes.
• Partner with Revenue Tech/Analytics to evolve systems and reporting.
• Support planning cycles: segmentation, coverage models, capacity, targets.
• Build cross-functional alignment with Sales, Finance, and other Revenue teams.
• Document processes and mentor others; contribute to Revenue Ops initiatives.
