Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Renewals Operations Manager to own the renewal engine at scale. You will partner with CX Operations, Revenue Tech, Finance, and Analytics to ensure predictable renewals, data integrity, and efficient quoting and close.

You will drive process improvements, automation, and cross-functional alignment to support gross/net retention, and oversee capacity planning and scenario analysis in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Renewals Operations or Revenue Operations with cross-functional ownership.
• Strong forecasting, retention reporting, and renewal mechanics knowledge.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end renewal operating model from identification to close and post-renewal data hygiene.
• Develop renewal cadences focusing on efficiency and process improvement.
• Define and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners.
• Improve CRM systems, data flows, quoting, billing and reporting in Salesforce.
• Automate renewal motions and standardize workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Support renewal planning, capacity modeling, and scenario planning.
• Manage the Renewal Operations case-management program including intake and routing.
• Document processes and mentor others on renewal motion and Revenue Ops initiatives.
