Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Project Developer Senior (EAST) to drive utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects from feasibility to construction prep across the United States and Canada.

You will coordinate permitting, environmental reviews, interconnection, land acquisition, and design with internal experts and external consultants. You will collaborate with land, interconnection, engineering, pre-construction, project delivery, and commercial teams to identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five years in renewable energy or large-scale project development.
• Experience with permitting, regulatory review, stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects from feasibility through start of construction.
• Direct permitting, environmental reviews, interconnection, land acquisition, and design with experts and consultants.
• Manage permit applications, regulatory filings, and agency interactions; support public hearings and engagement.
• Build relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, officials, agencies, and partners.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities; support investment decisions and development strategies.
• Support project financing, offtake, due diligence, and investment committee materials.
• Maintain schedules, tracking tools, and reporting against milestones.
• Monitor industry trends and policy developments; represent ENGIE at events.
