Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering coordination for grid-scale PV, wind and BESS projects in North America from development to construction. You will focus on interconnection support, preliminary analyses and ensure designs progress from 10% through IFC.

The role is hybrid based in San Diego, CA, with office presence typically Tue–Thu. 7+ years in renewables and strong AutoCAD/ETAP skills are required, along with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years of experience on renewable energy projects.
• Experience with PV, storage and wind technology.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/ETAP and PV tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead preliminary design for interconnection and development.
• Coordinate EPC/RFPs and RFIs for project execution.
• Support 10% through IFC design stages and detailed engineering reviews.
• Manage external engineers and align with Development, Permitting and Construction teams.
