Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking Estimators to support the development and execution of utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects across North America. This evergreen posting targets Estimator II and Senior Estimator levels based on experience and scope of responsibility.

You will develop BOP estimates, review drawings, and collaborate with engineering, construction, and suppliers to provide accurate cost information throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of training and estimating experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant construction estimating experience for Estimator II; minimum five (5) years for Senior Estimator.
• Experience estimating construction costs for utility-scale renewable energy or related infrastructure; direct BOP estimating for wind/solar/BESS preferred.
• Experience with HeavyBid or similar heavy-construction estimating software and RSMeans data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgetary and indicative BOP construction estimates for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Develop unit pricing using production rates, subcontractor and supplier input, historical cost data, indexes, and productivity information.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and layouts to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Evaluate major equipment specifications and new technologies for cost impacts.
• Review third-party pricing and contractor proposals for accuracy and gaps.
• Maintain estimating documentation and historical cost information for consistency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, contractors, and suppliers to support feasibility and execution.
