Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Analytics Manager to join the Global Energy team in Seattle. You will own the renewable energy data portfolio, track costs and generation, and develop forecasts to support budget and planning.

You will partner with Finance, accounting, and internal teams to provide robust financial reporting and insights. The role emphasizes scalable analytics, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experience building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio and report on cost, generation, and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from projects.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to provide renewable energy financial information.
• Provide insight for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytics efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors to validate monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Collaborate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payments and resolve issues.
• Support reporting on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, consumption, and RET retirement.
