Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Portfolio Manager to lead the management of clean energy contracts and carbon credit requirements. You will oversee amendments, compliance, performance analysis, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring alignment with contractual terms across development stages.

The role emphasizes data-driven oversight, risk reporting, and collaboration with legal, finance, and operations to optimize renewable energy portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, energy, or environmental science (or similar).
• 5+ years in clean energy contract management, procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience managing renewable energy contracts, especially wind/solar.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and building partnerships with suppliers/internal stakeholders.
• Experience with data analysis and energy market data.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Experience with energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale market data.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's ongoing clean energy and carbon credit requirements.
• Create and maintain documents/data for clean energy contracts.
• Track contractor compliance with milestones and deliverables.
• Manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure, and related issues.
• Monitor and surface issues in contracts and project operations.
• Analyze clean energy and financial project performance.
• Track development and construction milestones and risk reporting.
• Oversee contract document approval and signature process.
• Support invoicing and reporting for contracts; verify RECs and project terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
