Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy team seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to own the renewable energy data portfolio, forecast cost and generation, and support financial reporting. You will collaborate across Finance, Utilities, and internal partners to drive insights and scalable analytics tools.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and advancing renewable energy strategies with indicators toward Meta’s energy targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a related field.
• 3+ years in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with energy settlements, contract management, and invoicing.
• Experience analyzing renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, and wholesale data.
• Built data foundations and analytical tools.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Strong cross-functional relationship skills.
• Experience with presenting data in PowerPoint/Slides.

Responsibilities

• Own renewable energy data portfolio and report project costs, generation, and profitability.
• Forecast energy cost and generation using multiple inputs to support budget planning.
• Provide renewable energy financial information for reporting with Finance and Accounting.
• Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to improve analytics efficiency.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on monthly settlements and invoicing.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment and issue resolution.
• Support reporting on energy purchases, consumption, and RECs toward targets.
