Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy team seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to own renewable energy data, analyze portfolio cost and generation, and forecast future energy needs. The role partners with Finance and internal teams to deliver cost-competitive, clean energy solutions aligned with company goals.

You will build scalable analytics tools, work with vendors, and support reporting on energy purchases, consumption, and RECs, contributing to Meta’s renewable energy targets and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, energy, or relevant technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experience building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio: track, analyze and report cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Forecast energy cost and generation using forecasts, schedules, and historical data.
• Provide renewable energy financial information for reporting with Finance and Accounting.
• Address ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to improve analytics efficiency.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payments and issue resolution.
• Support reporting on energy purchases, consumption, and RECs, and progress toward targets.
