Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy team seeks a data-driven Energy Analytics Manager to help deploy a cost-competitive, clean and renewable energy-based supply portfolio aligned with Meta’s strategic goals. You will own data, forecast costs and generation, and provide insights to cross-functional partners while coordinating with vendors and utilities.

The role emphasizes building scalable analytics tools, managing settlements, and reporting on energy purchases and RECs to support ambitious renewable targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or related field.
• 3+ years in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewables portfolio management.
• Experience with energy settlements, contract management, tracking systems and invoicing.
• Experience analyzing energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs.
• Experience building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Slides for presenting data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio and report on cost, generation, and profitability.
• Forecast energy cost and generation using forecasts, schedules and historical data.
• Provide renewable energy financial information to Finance and Accounting.
• Provide insights for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to improve analytics.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payments and resolve issues.
• Support reporting on energy purchases, consumption and RECs toward targets.
