Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy team seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to drive the data portfolio for renewable energy projects. You will track costs, generation, profitability, and performance, building tools to forecast energy costs and support planning with Finance and internal partners.

Responsibilities include supplying financial data for reporting, analyzing settlements with vendors, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to report on renewables purchases and credits toward targets.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, contract management, and tracking systems.
• Experience analyzing renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale market data.
• Skilled in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and present quantitative data.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides for presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio and report project cost, generation, and profitability.
• Create forecasts of energy cost and generation using forecasts, schedules and historical data.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to provide renewable energy financial information.
• Provide insights for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to improve analytics efficiency.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors on monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Work with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Support reporting on renewable energy purchases, consumption, and credits toward targets.
