Job summary

Invenergy LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Manager of Renewable Development to oversee utility-scale wind, solar and storage projects across the upper Midwest. Lead development activities through multiple stages and coordinate with staff, consultants, and land agents while aligning with corporate strategy.

Occasional travel to MN, SD, ND, and IL is required. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in renewables and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in renewable/clean energy.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage wind, solar and storage projects within the United States.
• Lead development activities in early, mid, and/or late stages of the project.
• Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives.
• Manage staff, consultants, and land agents as needed.
• Travel to MN, SD, ND, and IL as required.
• Identify development prospects and perform market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Secure site control including leases and land agreements with landowners.
• Coordinate landowner communication efforts.
• Lead efforts to obtain local, state and federal permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials and stakeholders.
• Understand and manage local community affairs strategy.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Oversee project design and assist with budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules with internal and external support.
