Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a senior developer to advance wind, solar, and storage projects across the eastern United States. You will lead development through multiple lifecycle stages, secure site control, coordinate landowner relations, and manage interconnection processes.

The role requires 6+ years in renewables, a BS/BA, and the ability to travel 25–50%. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• BS/BA from an accredited college program.
• 6+ years’ work experience in renewable energy or relevant field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25–50%.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage advancement of a portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects in the eastern United States.
• Lead development activities in early, mid, and late stages.
• Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives.
• Identify development prospects and conduct market assessments.
• Secure site control through leases and landowner agreements.
• Coordinate landowner communications and permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with stakeholders and officials.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities and project budgeting.
