Job summary

Invenergy in Denver seeks a Senior Manager, Renewable Development to manage utility-scale solar, energy storage, and wind projects in the Southwestern US, with a base in Denver or Portland office.

You will lead development activities across early to late stages, secure site control, coordinate permits, manage interconnection, and align projects with company strategy while building relationships with landowners and officials. This role requires travel and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in renewable energy or related field.
• Willingness to travel 25–40% of the time and valid driver's license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage wind, solar, and energy storage projects in the Southwest.
• Lead development activities across early to late stages of projects.
• Align projects with long-term strategy and initiatives.
• Secure site control through leases and landowner agreements.
• Coordinate landowner communication and permits at local, state, and federal levels.
• Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, and officials.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Oversee project design, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Coordinate internal and external technical support.
• Travel to sites as needed.
