Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, Renewable Development to support utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects across the Midwest. You will advance developments, coordinate landowner relations, and secure permits while leading pricing and interconnection activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in renewable energy, with travel as needed. Base pay ranges from $98,000 to $125,000 annually, plus a 20–30% bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of renewable/clean energy industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License and US work eligibility.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advance existing energy project developments within the Midwest region.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements, and other agreements with landowners.
• Evaluate and track power market trends and coordinate landowner communications.
• Lead efforts to obtain certain local, state and/or federal permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, and officials.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling; coordinate internal and external technical support.
