Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Senior Manager of Renewable Development to lead utility-scale solar and wind projects across the Upper Midwest in the United States. You will manage development activities in early to late stages and align projects with the company’s strategic initiatives.

You will supervise staff, consultants, and land agents, travel to MN, SD, ND, and IL, and negotiate leases and permits while coordinating landowner communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 8+ years in renewable energy project development or related field.
• Ability to manage development and strategic processes for wind/solar.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of utility-scale solar and wind projects in the United States.
• Lead development activities across early, mid, and late stages.
• Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives.
• Manage staff, consultants, and land agents as needed.
• Travel to MN, SD, ND, and IL for project work.
• Identify development prospects and perform site reconnaissance.
• Secure site control via leases, easements, and landowner agreements.
• Coordinate landowner communications and obtain permits.
• Oversee interconnection activities and project design.
• Assist budgeting and scheduling; manage budgets and schedules.
