Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the team working on Cyberpunk 2, the next major title in the Cyberpunk franchise. In this role, you will develop rendering solutions and optimizations to enable designers and artists to deliver the game’s vision using Unreal Engine 5.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines to push runtime fidelity on a large-scale open world, optimize CPU/GPU performance, and help ship a visually ambitious RPG experience for next-generation consoles

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• AAA console titles experience, Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming.
• Unreal Engine 5 knowledge or in-house engine.
• Knowledge of modern rendering and CPU/GPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs.
• Experience with graphics debugging tools.
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication and ownership.
• Proactive in helping team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for performance and memory.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop rendering solutions for a large-scale open-world environment.
• Help art teams bring vast characters and a cyberpunk world to life with rendering knowledge.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory across CPU and GPU.
