Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer for the Fortnite Desktop team to enhance player experiences on PC. You will work with engineers to build and improve Desktop platform support, targeting an industry-leading state across diverse hardware and software configurations.

The role focuses on rendering systems, performance optimization, and collaboration with multiple Epic teams to advance Fortnite and Unreal Engine technology. Open to multiple NA locations.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ knowledge and multi-threaded programming experience.
• Real-time rendering experience in games or graphics industries.
• Experience profiling and optimizing large codebases.
• Familiarity with Windows OS-level APIs and graphics pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve stability and performance issues in Fortnite on PC across a range of hardware.
• Improve rendering systems and optimize stability and performance across graphics APIs.
• Collaborate with Epic teams to solve complex technical challenges for Fortnite and Unreal Engine.
• Work with GPU vendors and partners to resolve technical issues and improve underlying technologies.
• Contribute to designing and implementing new rendering features for the Fortnite Desktop platform.
