Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Tech Artist to join Fortnite Events, bringing deep look development, lighting, and art tech to life. You will blend geometry, materials, and UE Blueprints to deliver complex art and optimize content for multiple platforms. The role requires strong reels, proficiency with PBR, and collaboration across ICs, leads, and vendors.

You’ll own features from inception to ship and work within the Unreal Engine ecosystem to push visuals on PC, console, mobile, and VR.

Qualifications

• Strong reel/portfolio showing executed game tech art.
• Experienced knowledge of PBR principles and material editors.
• Establish workflows and tools for other artists.

Responsibilities

• Create complex materials for landscape and environments.
• Manage world lighting, clouds, atmospherics, water lookdev.
• Execute on a range of visuals styles with high fidelity.
• Collaborate with engineers and artists to optimize content for multiple platforms.
• Own gameplay and engine features from TechArt from inception to ship.
