Gallagher Bassett seeks a Claims Adjuster with 5+ years of experience handling indemnity claims and litigation. Minnesota license is required, with jurisdiction experience in Minnesota and South Dakota.

This role is eligible for fully remote work. You will analyze claims, communicate with clients, and resolve claims in line with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while delivering empathetic service to claimants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims, evaluate exposure, and plan proper course of action to resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients, showing empathy at every step of the process.
• Handle claims in accordance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the claim file outcome.
