Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Claims Adjuster to manage workers' compensation claims with a remote work setup. The role involves analyzing complex indemnity/lost time claims, coordinating with clients, and ensuring resolution in line with procedures and policies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of claims experience, required licensing in applicable states, and familiarity with industry standards. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
• Interact with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, exhibiting empathy throughout the claims process.
• Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies with attention to regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely to support the claim file.
