GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Engineer to lead power delivery projects, with hybrid/remote work options from Homestead, PA. The role emphasizes design review, technical leadership, and mentorship across a project portfolio in the Transmission & Distribution Division.

The candidate should have a PE license, ABET-accredited engineering degree (Civil or Electrical), and 6+ years in transmission line design, with experience in PLS software and external client engagement.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required; Civil or Electrical preferred.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare Specification Packages.
• Review and prepare Structural and Fabrication Drawings.
• Designs and analyzes Transmission Lines using PLS tools as applicable.
• Analyze foundations and structural components for code compliance.
• Perform electrical clearance checks and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Direct project management across multiple projects, maintaining scope and budget.
