Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks an Engineer 2 Transmission Line to join our Power Delivery team. The role is remote-based with hybrid options from Homestead, PA.

You will apply transmission line design expertise, supervise junior staff, and contribute to project delivery across multiple lines and foundations. Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree, PE license, 6+ years in transmission line design, and experience with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE; PLS-TOWER/FAD tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited college in engineering.
• PE license is required.
• 6+ years of transmission line design experience.
• Experience with PLS suite (PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE) required, PLS-TOWER/FAD Tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day project tasks for successful delivery.
• Review and prepare specification packages and drawings.
• Design and analyze transmission lines; review foundations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide leadership on projects.
• Direct project management with oversight of scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and codes.
