Job summary

Kotter is seeking a Senior Training Business Operations Lead, US‑based and remote, to own and continuously improve the operational foundation of Kotter Training. You will integrate program delivery, business operations, systems, and performance data to ensure an exceptional client experience while maintaining a financially healthy business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business operations, training operations, program operations, service delivery, or a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
• Experience managing complex operational workflows and coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, systems, or operating practices and translate ideas into lasting changes.
• Experience using data, reporting, and performance metrics to identify issues, evaluate results, or inform decisions.
• Business and financial acumen, including understanding operating costs, resource utilization, and profitability factors.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt as circumstances change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions.
• Comfort working independently, navigating ambiguity, and influencing without formal authority.
• Proficiency with business productivity tools and operational systems; CRM/LMS/ scheduling/reporting tools are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Responsibilities

• Own Program Operations – oversee operational details from planning through delivery and follow‑up.
• Sales handoff + onboarding – ensure client requirements and SOW details are documented.
• Client liaison – manage post‑sale communications and prep for delivery.
• Delivery coordination – align resources and ensure facilitators have needed materials.
• Program logistics – manage open‑enrollment calendar, registrations, and materials.
• Attendee experience – serve as primary concierge for public attendees and certificates.
• Delivery support – occasional on‑site or virtual event assistance and troubleshooting.
• Strengthen business performance – use data to identify trends and risks.
• Strategic internal initiatives – update core training content and new products.
• Process optimization – standardize templates and checklists for repeatable delivery.
• Tool administration – maintain PM tools like Asana and delivery tools like Zoom/Miro.
• Coordinate across teams – align Training, Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Finance and partners.
• Internal communications – keep the firm informed of Training work.
• Strategy execution – translate priorities into operational plans and timelines.
• Marketing alignment – ensure assets and dates are accurate for enrollment.
• Sales + delivery alignment – ensure pipeline visibility and capacity planning.
• Translation management – manage translations with third‑party partners.
