Job summary

Kotter Training is seeking a Senior Training Business Operations Lead to own and continuously improve the operational foundation of Kotter Training. You will integrate program delivery, business operations, systems, and performance data to ensure exceptional client experiences while maintaining a financially healthy business.

Collaborating with the Head of Training, you will oversee corporate and public programs, balance capacity with demand, and drive scalable processes that support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business operations, training operations, program operations, service delivery, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience managing complex operational workflows and coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, systems, or operating practices and translate ideas into lasting changes.
• Experience using data, reporting, and performance metrics to identify issues, evaluate results, or inform decisions.
• Business and financial acumen, including understanding operating costs, resource utilization, profitability.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across functions.
• Comfort working independently, navigating ambiguity, and influencing without authority.
• Proficiency with business productivity tools; experience with CRM, LMS, scheduling, or reporting platforms is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own Program Operations – oversee operational details from planning through delivery and follow‑up.
• Sales handoff and onboarding – transition closed deals into active projects with clear client requirements.
• Client liaison – manage post‑sale communications and prep for training delivery.
• Delivery coordination – allocate resources and ensure facilitators have necessary materials.
• Program logistics – manage open‑enrollment public training calendar and attendee communications.
• Attendee experience – be the primary point of contact for public attendees and issue resolution.
• Delivery support – provide on‑site or virtual event support and session production as needed.
• Strengthen business performance – monitor health and performance with leadership to identify risks and actions.
• Process optimization – standardize templates and workflows to improve repeatability and scalability.
• Tool administration – maintain Asana and other tools; ensure data accuracy and compliance.
