Job summary

Qode is seeking a seasoned Procurement Buyer to drive strategic sourcing, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships from a remote home office in the United States. You will lead category strategies, analyze spend data, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive procurement experience as Buyer/Category Manager or similar.
• Advanced negotiation techniques and contract management skills.
• Understanding of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Coupa).
• Analytical, data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Experience with indirect spend is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, price, delivery reliability, and partnerships.
• Lead negotiations for contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance against metrics.
• Analyze market trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill procurement requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and manage inventory where applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
