Job summary

OpenLoop’s Senior Director of Procurement will lead company-wide sourcing, vendor management, and spend optimization, building a centralized procurement function to support rapid growth. The role focuses on pharmacy-related purchasing, contract lifecycle management, and compliance, working with Legal and Compliance to mitigate risk and improve transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years in procurement or supply chain with leadership in growth environments.
• Experience designing centralized procurement operations in startups or public companies.
• Strong knowledge of procurement software and spend management systems.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or digital health.
• Proven track record in cost savings and supplier performance.
• Skilled in negotiations, contract review, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize a centralized procurement policy and process.
• Implement and optimize a new procurement software tool.
• Lead annual budget planning with FP&A.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage spend and vendors.
• Direct strategy and contract lifecycle management for pharmacy purchasing.
• Identify vendor consolidation and group purchasing opportunities.
• Implement supply chain reporting for pharmacy logistics.
• Embed pharmacy procurement metrics into the enterprise platform.
• Work with Compliance and Legal to meet regulatory standards.
• Partner with Legal to review vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Other duties as assigned.
