Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is actively seeking a Model Risk Advisor to promote AI governance, maintain an inventory of AI/ML models, and assess risk with regulatory alignment. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, audits, and reporting to executives.

You will help implement risk controls, monitor KRIs, and support model validation while advancing a remote-first governance program for a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field.
• Four years of work experience in AI Model governance, Model Risk Management, or Audit; degree exemption allowed with experience.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain an inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and impact; identify emerging AI risks.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, processes, and controls.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
