Job summary
Capital One is seeking a Sr. Agency Operations Associate to join the Loan Operations Team. The role allows virtual work from home with in-person visits within 50 miles of McLean, VA or Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
- 2+ years of Commercial Banking or Loan Operations experience
- Preferred: Finance or Accounting background
- 3+ years of experience with Government Agencies (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily loan- and investor-level loan maintenance in the loan servicing system, including payoffs, defeasances, and auto-debits.
- Perform advanced exception system maintenance and identify opportunities to minimize risk.
- Review and approve analyses of system exception reports with high accuracy.
- Monitor daily Bloomberg index uploads and adjust for GSEs or market conditions.
- Manage payment of post-closing fees and verify documentation.
- Initiate and enhance internal reporting and metrics tracking.
- Review loan documents for accurate data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with the loan servicing vendor on system issues and enhancements.
- Lead planning, testing, and implementation of new functionality to streamline tasks.
