Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Agency Operations Associate for the Loan Operations Team. The role offers virtual work from home with requirement to reside within 50 miles of Capital One hubs in McLean, VA or Charlotte, NC.

The position carries a salary range of approximately $80,800 to $101,300 depending on location, with potential incentive compensation. Responsibilities include overseeing loan servicing activities, reviewing system reports, coordinating with vendors, and driving process

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; 3+ years with McCracken Strategy; 3+ years with Government Agencies (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae)

Responsibilities

Oversee daily loan servicing in the system (payoffs, defeasances, auto-debits, investor transfers).
Review system exception reports and assist with outages.
Monitor Bloomberg index uploads and adjust per GSEs/market conditions.
Process post-closing fees payments and verify documentation.
Lead internal reporting and metrics tracking; assess project performance and remediation.
Analyze loan documents for data accuracy and evidence-based recommendations.
Collaborate with loan servicing vendor on system issues and upgrades.
Plan, test, and implement new functionality to automate tasks.
