You will direct defense strategy, evaluate settlements, and oversee discovery plans across first- and third-party cases while coordinating with counsel and leadership.

The role emphasizes extensive claims handling expertise, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to travel when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or risk management or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shapes claim strategy with defense counsel and evaluates settlement opportunities.
• Creates discovery plans including depositions and IMEs for both first- and third-party claims.
• Reviews liability, damages, and coverage to assess settlement options.
• Coordinates with counsel, management, and mediations to present recommendations.
