Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist with a remote-friendly setup to own complex litigated claims, including auto and homeowners matters. You will steer strategy, negotiate with defense counsel, and manage discovery plans, settlements, and budgets.

The role requires a business- or risk-related degree and proven claims experience, with willingness to travel and work extended hours, including weekends when needed. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience handling insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlements.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations.
• Create discovery plans with depositions, experts, IMEs, and accident reconstruction.
• Review liability, damages, coverage and risk for independent settlements.
• Collaborate with defense counsel to identify negotiation strategy and represent the organization in mediations.
