Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Litigation Specialist for a remote role. You will own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, shape strategy with defense counsel, and manage discovery plans, experts, and IMEs.

The position requires travel as needed, sharp analysis of liability, damages, and coverage, and collaboration with external counsel. A Bachelor’s in business/insurance/risk mgmt or equivalent, and strong claims experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Owns complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shapes claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlements.
• Creates discovery plans including depositions, retention of experts, IMEs, and accident reconstruction.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage and risk for settlement decisions.
• Collaborates with defense counsel on negotiation strategy and appears for mediations and settlement conferences.
• Prepares and presents litigated case recommendations to local and executive management at IELT level.
