Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Fleet Manager to lead remote fleet operations in the United States. You will oversee daily vehicle fleet activities, implement preventative maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance to optimize performance and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in fleet management, strong maintenance scheduling knowledge, and proficiency with fleet management software. Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Business admin is preferred; remote work offers flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Fleet Manager or senior fleet operations role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and transportation regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet for efficient utilization and scheduling.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all vehicles.
• Manage relationships with external vendors for repairs, parts, and servicing.
• Ensure all fleet vehicles and operations comply with local, regional, and national regulations.
• Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency.
• Track fleet costs, analyze expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Manage driver schedules, performance, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
