Job summary

Megaport is seeking a senior technology lawyer to join its global Legal team, focusing on high-value commercial agreements in the compute division. You will partner with the Chief Legal Officer and senior leaders to shape contracting strategy and drive execution of complex deals.

You will advise on technology transactions, data, privacy, IP, cybersecurity and regulatory issues arising from strategic transactions, and lead negotiations with hyperscalers and major tech companies.

Qualifications

Significant post-qualification experience as a lawyer (7–10 years) with in-house tech focus.
Admission in at least one US jurisdiction and good standing.
Experience leading high-value, strategic commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

Support complex and strategic transactions for data centres, cloud, and other tech services.
Partner with Chief Legal Officer and senior stakeholders on high-priority matters.
Advise on tech, data, privacy, IP, cybersecurity and regulatory issues.
Lead negotiations with global technology companies and hyperscalers.
Provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice and drive execution.
