Job summary
Megaport is hiring a senior technology lawyer to support the global Legal team, focusing on complex commercial arrangements and initiatives in the compute division. Qualifications
- Post-qualifikation experience as a lawyer (7–10 years)
- In-house experience in tech, data centre, cloud, telecoms, infra or SaaS preferred
- Admission in at least one US jurisdiction
- Experience leading complex, high-value commercial transactions
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with practical, commercial focus
Responsibilities
- Support complex and strategic transactions for data centre procurement and customer agreements
- Partner with the CLO, executives and senior leaders on high-priority legal matters
- Advise on legal and commercial structures of strategic partnerships in cloud, networking, data centres and infra
- Lead negotiations with global technology companies and major enterprise customers
- Advise on technology, data, privacy, IP, cybersecurity and regulatory issues in strategic deals
