Job summary

Supabase seeks a Customer Solutions Architect to drive adoption across startups and brands, guiding customers from discovery through onboarding and ongoing success. You will design technical solutions on our platform, lead proofs of value, and engage across teams to optimize performance.

You will work with global customers, translating business needs into technical outcomes and acting as a trusted advisor to accelerate growth on Supabase.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or similar.
• Strong background with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Background in web application development, with familiarity with Python, C# and popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) as well as Node.js.
• Very strong communication skills, particularly of technical concepts.
• Well-organized and effective storyteller with interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management, business analysis and revenue operations tools like HubSpot, BigQuery.
• Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements to deliver meaningful technical and business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to uncover objectives and define success criteria.
• Design and present platform demonstrations to high-value customers using storytelling.
• Size deals with Growth and provide anticipated usage estimates for workloads.
• Collaborate to determine the technical scope of a proof-of-value and set timelines for adoption.
• Guide onboarding with emails, docs, and webinars to promote rapid deployment on the platform.
• Understand customer goals and build meaningful account plans for high-value customers.
• Deliver engagements including architecture assessments, database design, and performance optimization.
• Serve as an internal champion and communicate platform roadmaps to customers.
