Job summary

Logistis for Designers is a fully remote bookkeeping and accounting firm specializing in interior design. The Client Manager leads client relationships, oversees bookkeeping teams, and translates financials into clear insights for design firms.

You will onboard new clients, clean up books, teach best practices, and ensure accurate, timely financial statements. This is a senior, client-facing role with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience at a senior accountant level.
• Proven experience with books cleanup and catch-up work.
• 3+ years in a client-facing role.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and accrual-based financial statements.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team, ideally remote or offshore.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients by email, phone and Zoom.
• Lead recurring monthly or quarterly calls to review financials, cash flow, AR/AP and project profitability.
• Explain gross profit margin, markups and net income, and recommend changes when margins are low or the business is losing money.
• Coordinate with clients' outside CPAs, payroll providers and software reps as needed.
• Onboard new clients, clean up their books, and teach best practices to designers and the team.
• Oversee mapping and setup of the design platform to QuickBooks, including sync start dates and chart of accounts.
• Train and coach bookkeepers on cleanup, workflows and firm standards.
