Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is seeking CAT Property Adjusters for a remote, full-time role with up to 75% travel.

This position supports our property claims team across geographies, requiring field investigations and coordination with agents, contractors, and restoration vendors. You will travel on short notice, handle personal property claims, and work with BI specialists on business interruption features, maintaining productivity and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to negotiate skillfully in difficult situations while preserving relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Handle personal property claims requiring outside field investigations and inspections.
• May use a company claims office as base or work from home.
• Handle business interruption (BI) features with BI specialists.
• Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate claims of minimal to moderate complexity.
• May manage all aspects of a claim, including informal hearings, arbitrations, and small claims litigation.
• Maintain productivity, confidentiality and customer service while adhering to authority limits.
