Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Remote Building Controls Technician to provide fully remote support for building automation and OT environments. You will perform remote programming, configuration, testing, and tuning of DDC BAS, and develop control logic, graphics, alarms, and trends using approved remote access methods.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BAS/DDC or related fields, Niagara N4 certification, and experience with remote support and OT cybersecurity.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting building automation, DDC controls, or BAS operations.
Niagara N4 certification or equivalent experience with Niagara-based BAS.
Experience with remote or centralized support environments for BAS platforms.
Familiarity with BAS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) and OT cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

Perform remote programming, configuration, testing, and tuning of DDC BAS.
Develop/modify control sequences, graphics, alarms, schedules, and trends remotely.
Provide remote support for HVAC equipment and BAS platforms.
Manage remote user accounts, roles, and access in accordance with policy.
Coordinate with field technicians and engineers to resolve issues without on-site visits.
Document service requests, changes, and troubleshooting steps for BAS systems.
