Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Building Automation Service Technician to diagnose and resolve complex BAS and HVAC control issues across commercial facilities. You will lead field service, mentor technicians, and coordinate with IT teams to ensure system performance.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in building automation/HVAC controls service.
Strong troubleshooting with BAS programming, networks, and system integrations.
Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and control sequences.
Experience working with building owners, engineers, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve complex building automation and HVAC control system issues.
Troubleshoot BAS programming, communications networks, integrations, and control sequences.
Perform system upgrades, database modifications, and performance optimization.
Lead technical execution on complex service calls and small BAS service projects.
Work with customer IT teams on networking, IP configuration, and remote system connectivity.
Integrate BAS platforms with third-party equipment and mechanical systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
Communicate with facility teams to diagnose issues, explain solutions, and ensure system performance.
