Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Solutions Architect for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will design and operate large-scale backend services powering critical workloads, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems and strong Java/Go/Scala skills, plus hands-on experience with cloud platforms and observability practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field.
• 6+ years backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Java, Go, or Scala.
• Expertise in distributed systems concepts including consensus and CAP.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and documentation skills.
• Mentorship and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems in Java/Go/Scala.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with observability.
• Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and cost with profiling and load testing.
• Lead architecture reviews and trade-off analyses.
• Drive reliability improvements with SRE collaboration.
